Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TaxCentral.ae website and platform (the "Service") operated by TaxCentral.ae ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the TaxCentral.ae platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the platform on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

TaxCentral.ae provides an AI-powered platform for accessing information about UAE Corporate Tax and VAT law. Our services include:

• An AI chatbot trained on UAE tax legislation (UAE Tax GPT)
• Tax Help Lounge: support ticket system with access to human tax professionals
• Chat history storage and export
• UAE tax updates, alerts, and blog content

3. Not Legal or Tax Advice

Important: The information provided by TaxCentral.ae, including responses from our AI and Tax Help Lounge, is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute formal legal advice, tax advice, or a formal opinion from a registered UAE tax agent.

You should not rely solely on TaxCentral.ae for making tax decisions, filing tax returns, or legal compliance without consulting a qualified UAE-registered tax professional. TaxCentral.ae accepts no liability for any actions taken based solely on information provided through our platform.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

TaxCentral.ae offers Free and Pro subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• No refunds are provided for partial months of service
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Add-on services (extra consultations, priority support) are billed separately

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of UAE law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our AI responses or content without permission
• Submit false or misleading information to our Tax Help Lounge
• Use our platform to provide tax advice to third parties for commercial gain without our written consent
• Harass, threaten, or abuse our tax professionals or staff
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI model

7. Intellectual Property

All content on TaxCentral.ae, including the AI system, software, text, graphics, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to TaxCentral.ae and is protected by UAE and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

Content you submit to us (e.g., tax questions, ticket descriptions) remains yours. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it to provide and improve our services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, TaxCentral.ae and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform, including but not limited to:

• Tax penalties, fines, or assessments resulting from reliance on our AI responses
• Loss of data or business interruption
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months prior to the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be complete, accurate, or up to date at all times.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
